Valentine Heart Card and Bookmark

On Feb 11, 2016, I did a Valentine's Day Class at a local Library. I met some amazing people, both teens and adults and had a wonderful time watching them be creative with this card and Bookmark. I provided them with two different sample cards and bookmarks... but they came up with so many more creative combinations. They used different stamps, ink colors, and placement of the main heart. It was fantastic seeing the many different versions of this card and bookmarks.

Special Birthday card!

This card was made with the Party Pop-Up Thinlits die, Balloon Bouquet punch, Birthday Bouquet DSP (Designer Series Paper) and Balloon Celebration Stamp set. I love that you can use the set to stamp a balloon and then use the Balloon Bouquet Punch to punch it out. I love that you can either use the Party Pop-Up die on the front of a card as an embellishment (by cutting out the cake) or inside as a pop out.

"Tea Time" Card

I have always loved "Tea" cards but most of the stamp sets in the past have only included the cups and not the Teapot. This cards was made with the Cups & Kettle Framelits and the Have a Cuppa DSP Paper Stack. There are so many pretty papers in this stack!

Two more Fancy Flap Cards

Fancy Flap Cards are so versatile. You can put the flap on either side of the card and you can make the card with two flaps instead of one. There are many ways to keep these flaps closed...you can use buttons, slits, and belly bands. I've also used Two Way Glue sticks to make the flap into a kind of sticky note.

Botanical Blooms Cards

These cards use the new Botanical Blooms Stamp Set in Occasions Catalog. I think this is my favorite set in this catalog!

Two different card versions from the same set

I've been playing with all my new stamps and accessories from the fantastic Stampin' UP! "Handmade from the Heart" Occasions Catalog that is in affect from Jan. 5, 2016 to May 31, 2016.

These two very similar cards were made from the Rose Wonder Stamp set and the Rose Garden Thinlits Dies.
